Job Title: Event Phone Security Attendant (Temporary Agency Role)

Location: Various event venues (as assigned)

Employment Type: Temporary/Agency Work

Shift Pattern: Flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

 

ROLE OVERVIEW

As an Event Phone Security Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure and distraction-free environment at events. You will be responsible for managing the locking and unlocking of controlled pouch-locking systems securing mobile phones. This is a customer-facing role requiring professionalism, efficiency, and strong attention to detail.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·          Greet guests in a polite and professional manner upon arrival

·          Explain the pouch locking process clearly and answer any questions

·          Safely place guests’ mobile phones into designated security pouches

·          Lock pouches securely using the provided locking system

·          Ensure all items are always handled with care and respect

·          At the end of the event, unlock pouches for phone retrieval

·          Provide a smooth, efficient exit experience for all attendees

·          Report any incidents, concerns or discrepancies to supervisors or leads immediately

 

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

·          Strong customer service and communications skills

·          High level of reliability and punctuality

·          Ability to work calmly in busy, fast-paced environments

·          Attention to detail and accuracy in handling personal belongings

·          Trustworthy and responsible with confidential or valuable items

·          Ability to follow procedures and security protocols precisely

·          Comfortable standing for extended periods

·          Previous experience in events, security or customer service is desirable but not essential

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

·          Indoor and/or outdoor event environments

·          May involve high footfall and crowd interaction

·          Requires standing for long durations

·          Uniform or dress code may be required depending on the event

 

TRAINING & SUPPORT

·          Full training on pouch locking systems and procedures will be provided

·          On-site supervision and support available during shifts
