Waitress – Food Runner

*Overview*
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Waitress – Food Runner to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring timely food delivery, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and excellent communication skills, contributing to a memorable dining experience for our guests. Previous experience in restaurant service, food preparation, or related hospitality roles is advantageous.

*Duties*

• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously to guests at their tables or designated areas
• Assist in the delivery of orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
• Support the serving staff with guest needs, including refilling drinks and addressing enquiries
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service stations and dining areas
• Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during all stages of service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal timings and special requests
• Uphold excellent phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering guest inquiries
• Assist with basic food preparation or meal assembly as required
• Support delivery drivers with order pickups and deliveries when necessary

*Skills*

• Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles such as hotel or barista work
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear, courteous guest interactions
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
• Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, or culinary techniques is beneficial
• Experience in delivery driving or logistics can be an advantage
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in order accuracy and presentation
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
