Are you obsessed with the perfect flip? Do you know the secret to extraordinary French Toast?

Black Milk is evolving! We are famous for our indulgent sweet pancake stacks and over-the-top desserts, and now we’re looking for a creative, driven Weekend Brunch Chef to help us deliver an extended menu of authentic American-style savory and sweet pancake stacks and French Toast.

The Role

We need a weekend specialist who can take our brunch game to the next level during our absolute busiest shifts. You won’t just be flipping pancakes; you’ll be an integral part of a team delivering a high-energy, high-quality brunch and dessert experience in the heart of the Northern Quarter every Saturday and Sunday.

Alongside our signature stacks, you will be crucial in executing our seasonal brunch menu when the demand is at its highest.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Menu Execution: Prepping and cooking our signature pancake batters, French toast, and toppings to order.
  • Innovation: Collaborating with the team to refine and deliver an extended menu of American-style stacks (think savory pairings and unique sauces).
  • Quality Control: Ensuring every plate that leaves the pass looks incredible without sacrificing taste or temperature.
  • Efficiency: Managing a busy station during peak Manchester weekend rushes while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
