It's a chilled, weekly drop-in session that's designed to support you to find a part-time job. The JobShop team are on hand to provide tips on where to look for jobs, guidance on how to write a great CV and more.

When and where
is JobClub?

You'll find JobClub at Essentials, Oxford Road, every Wednesday term-time from 1pm until 3pm so you can drop by any time.

  • What can we help you with? At JobClub, you can get support writing or updating a CV or Cover Letter, practising for an interview, finding jobs online, completing a skills assessment and using AI to help you land a job.
  • What's on offer? Alongside the tailored support from the JobShop team, you'll get access to free printing for CVs, dedicated on-campus space to apply for part-time jobs, internet access, laptops, CV and Cover Letter templates and free tea & coffee.

Terms and Conditions

1. We will not write a CV, cover letter or application on your behalf

2. We will not store any of your data on any of our systems

3. You must be a student in Manchester (incl. if you are on a year out or have dropped out of your course)

4. We cannot provide advice on full-time roles, graduate schemes, internships etc. You should seek support from UoM careers with these roles.
