Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Barista to join the team at Science and Industry Museum Cafe in Manchester

Rate: £13 per hour

Contract: Part-time

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in preparing and serving barista-made drinks
A passion for coffee, quality, and customer service
Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Positive attitude and a proactive approach to work

About the role

As a Barista, you will:

Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee, tea, and cold beverages
Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of Benugo’s coffee and tea offerings
Support the Head Barista in training and developing team members
Ensure all coffee equipment is used, cleaned, and maintained properly
Deliver an exceptional customer experience, maintaining high standards at all times
Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures consistently
Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping duties across the site
Assist with day-to-day operational tasks to support the wider team
